About

Opened September 4, 2012, Cowork Frederick is a collaborative working environment for independents, freelancers, entrepreneurs, telecommuters and others interested in the synergy that comes from working with other talented people in the same space. It’s a place you can go to escape the isolation of working at home, to get away from distractions at the office, where you can work all day without glares from cafe patrons looking for a place to sit.

Facilities and Amenities

Our community room provides work space for up to 20 people. The walls are decorated with works by a local artist and change each month as a different artist is featured. Each month Cowork Frederick is turned over to that artist as they present a gallery showing / artist's reception during the Frederick First Saturday event, which started as a gallery walk and has grown to a city-wide event.

Conference room seats 10 with table, 20 without (seminar seating). Has whiteboard, projector, speakerphone, flip chart
Collaboration room (2-4 people) with whiteboard
Community room (evenings and weekends, seats 45) with projector, 92" screen, sound system.

Membership Level	Price	Description
Dedicated Desk	$325 /month	Need to work with something larger than a laptop? What about multiple monitors? We have a limited number of desks you can set up, decorate and leave your stuff there at the end of the day. Dedicated desk members also have 24×7 access, meeting room usage and a locker for storage.
Full-Time	$275 /month	Make us your main office location. Full-time members’ regular presence provides continuity and the best opportunity to network and collaborate with others. If you’re launching or growing your business but aren’t ready to commit to a regular office and lease, full-time membership provides a static location for your client meetings. Full-time members have 24×7 access, meeting room usage and a locker for storage. If you routinely need a place to meet with clients, full-time membership is the one for you.
Part-Time	$185/month	Use Cowork Frederick up to 3 days a week. This level is perfect for part-timers, those who still want to work from home sometimes, or those who travel and are only in Frederick, well, part-time. Part-Time membership includes meeting room usage.
Some-Time	$75 /month	You can come in and work at Cowork Frederick, hold meetings, teach classes – whatever – up to 5 times per month. (Need more time now and then? Additional days are just $15, a 40% discount from the Day Pass rate.) Some-Time membership includes meeting room usage.
Supporting Member	$25 /month	Includes access one day per month and a 40% discount on additional days. This membership level is a good fit for you if you think you’ll work at Cowork Frederick more than once a month but rarely more than 4 times a month, you want the benefits of membership (see above), or you just want to show your support for Cowork Frederick. Unlike other membership levels, Supporting members must pay for meeting room time but can do so at discounted rate.
Coworking VISA	Free	Members of the Coworking VISA program can use amenities of our space for up to 3 days free, Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm

Overtime (24/7):

It turns out a lot of you are caffeine fueled workaholics and like to get started before the roosters. Not only that, but once you hit your groove, you just don’t want to quit. You asked, we listened. We now have 24/7 access as an add-on option for our Part-Time and Some-Time members.

Daypass:

If you want to get a taste of coworking to see if it’s for you, if you’re a member and need additional days or if you’re just passing through and want a place to work with more personality than the hotel business center, grab a day pass. Your day pass fee can be applied to any membership plan if you sign up at the end of your visit.
