Beehive Baltimore

Beehive Baltimore is Baltimore city's first coworking community and is located in the Emerging Technology Centers (ETC) Haven Campus, in Highlandtown.

Beehive Baltimore was formed following a session at SocialDevCamp East in November 2008. Twice-weekly Jelly sessions were held from November 6, 2008 through January 2009.  Beehive Baltimore opened as Baltimore's first coworking space at the ETC Canton on February 2, 2009, and expanded into a larger space in ETC Canton in June 2010. The Beehive is located at the ETC Haven Campus (101 N Haven St.) since December 2013. 

 

Beehive is a great location for freelancers, remote workers, small teams, startups & those who have outgrown working from home.

The Bank Building is a professional co-working space, located directly on York Road, at the southern end of Hunt Valley, just minutes from the Shawan Road and Warren Road exits of I-83, and a short mile from the Schilling Circle light rail stop. 

The Bank Building is a historic turn-of-the-century building, formerly The National Bank of Cockeysville, full of charm and character. The building features real wood architectural details, plaster moldings, classic marble tiles, and the original bank cash vaults (our quiet rooms).

    • Cons: Sometimes loud / busy

    • Pros:  Fantastic food, good coffee, fast wifi connection, friendly staff, good art selection that rotates, good music selecitons
    • Cons:  Gets busy at times, a little loud for phone use

    • Pros:  Good wifi, quiet, huge upstairs with tons of terminals, always empty, quiet!
    • Cons:  Bad coffee, limited selection of food, parking on the street is touch and go.

    • Pros: Big tables, proactive table service for hours and hours, 24 hours on weekends, funky atmosphere
    • Cons: I have only discovered 2 plugs, can be noisy, plan on eating
