Indie Desk is a coworking space— a middle ground between working out of your loft and renting your own office.
You'll find a desk, but also a community of members who are building their own creative businesses.
At the intersection of the Historic Core and the Fashion District, we are building a hub for Downtown’s entrepreneurs, working to enable small businesses to grow by fostering a community of creative people and companies.
We are located at 816 S. Broadway, between 8th and 9th streets. Parking is available at numerous surface lots, or on Broadway after 7pm.

The Concept
Indie Desk is a coworking space—a middle ground between working out of your loft and renting your own office.
More importantly, though, Indie Desk is a community. We want to help creative people get to know others who are going through similar things in life and in business.
Who Should Join?
We're looking for freelancers, startups and anyone else who is looking for a place geared toward doing work in the company of creative people.
Because our concept is built around community, we're especially looking for people interested in participating in things like brown-bag lunch discussions, show-and-tell sessions about your latest cool project or after-work happy hours.
Work
We offer a variety of workspaces for our members, from cafe-style seats to workstations and even a few private desks.
All come with a fast wireless Internet connection, access to a printer, copier and scanner and some free coffee and soda. We also offer a conference room and mail delivery.
Meet
Along with just providing a place to work, we want to build a community through events like brown-bag lunch discussions and after-work happy hours.
We also want Indie Desk to become a great spot to hold your meetings. If you have an event or an idea that draws 20 - 30 people and has a community or creative focus, email us at [email protected] to see if Indie Desk is right for you.
Our Space
Indie Desk is in approximately 2,000 square feet on the ground floor of the Wurlitzer building, just a few doors down from Broadway Bar and the historic Orpheum Theatre.
Workstations
Most of our work spaces are first-come, first-serve. We have a variety of options, from cafe-style counter seating to cubicle workstations.
Conference Room
Our conference room is open by availability or reservation, and can seat six comfortably. It is equipped with an LCD TV and conference speakerphone.
Kitchen
Our kitchenette includes a sink, microwave and a refrigerator that we stock with water and soda. You'll also find fresh coffee waiting for you each morning.
