New Space In Ypsilanti

GoWork in Downtown Ypsilanti

Located in downtown Ypsilanti, the GoWork space offers both open and private space for individuals and small businesses. Our aim is to create an environment that prioritizes comfort and community over all. Whether you are a professional, nomad entrepreneur, student or creative, we truly believe that GoWork will be your best place to get work done.

Expect the usual office drinks and snacks, as well as printing, private lockers, and mailboxes. We have both traditional seated desks and more relaxed areas when you want to move around, Sometimes you want to sit in a more lounge-like arrangement, sometimes you want to stand a bit higher on a perch; we have both for you.

Coworking in Detroit

Objective

I am interested in organizing a coworking environment in the Metro Detroit area for independent web workers, designers, startup entrepreneurs, writers and freelancers who want to enjoy a shared space and network with like-minded folks.

Here are some of the necessary amenities that come to mind:

I'm looking for feedback/comments on the amenities above, locations, and etc. Please add your thoughts on this wiki and add your name to the list if you are interested. You can also send me an email.

Potentials for Landlords: The basic coworking space business model is very simple and straight-forward. The landlord provides a large well-equipped space. This space will be a mix of dedicated smaller offices, open desks, lounge area, meeting room and various office amenities (Internet, coffee break area, copy machine). The tenants will consist of tiered memberships - monthly anchor tenants (dedicated office space or desk), monthly Hotdesk rentals (right to use any open desk) and drop-ins (day tenants). There can also be weekend-only memberships, mailbox privileges, and etc. I believe that many "creative professionals" will use such a workspace as an alternative to their home office.
